The Lutovac Law Office recently had a meeting with a team of experts from the European Commission as part of the Peer Review mission for Chapter 7 – Intellectual Property Law.
During the meeting, the current results were discussed, as well as the challenges faced by legal professionals and institutions responsible for the protection of intellectual property rights. Special emphasis was placed on harmonizing national legislation with EU standards and the effectiveness of intellectual property protection mechanisms.
Experts Ms. Romana Matanovac Vučković, Mr. Ninoslav Babić, Mr. Rafaela Tifenbaher, as well as Ms. Nina Marković from the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, expressed their satisfaction with the meeting, highlighting that they received valuable information and useful insights necessary for further analysis of ways to enforce intellectual property rights, which is the key goal of the Peer Review mission. They particularly praised the professionalism and willingness of the office to cooperate.
