BRANISLAV LUTOVAC

Branislav Lutovac – founder of the office has a huge legal experience, particularly in the areas of criminal law, offences against the person, economic and financial crime, drugs and war crimes, and offences relating to road traffic.

He acted as defending counsel in a number of felonies that have occurred in Montenegro and region. He built special practice in the area of media law by representing and defending journalists and publishers of independent media.

He represents in international legal disputes and litigation for damages. He is the author of numerous papers in the field of criminal justice published in professional and legal journals in Montenegro and region, and a member of famed European and international lawyers associations.

Education:

Graduated from Law faculty in Podgorica, Montenegro. Passed the bar exam in Novi Sad, Serbia. Holder of numerous certificates from seminars on criminal law.

VUK LUTOVAC

Vuk Lutovac is managing partner of Lutovac & partneri.

He is the only European patent attorney in Montengro and has many years of experience in the field of intellectual property and commercial law. In addition to being responsible for managing office portfolio of IP clients in the field of intellectual property protection, Vuk specializes in trademark infringement lawsuits, where he has represented a vast number of clients, including large multi-national companies in all aspects of trademark protection, management and enforcement in Montenegro.

He has participated in and supervised legal actions against counterfeits, pirated goods and other Intellectual Property infringements, both before courts and through the use of administrative actions. Vuk is an experienced litigator who has been involved in a number of high-profile trademark and copyright disputes, as well as disputes regarding commercial law.

Vuk also has significant experience in advising clients on issues of commercial law, especially issues related to the establishment of companies, actions for the fulfillment of commercial contracts, as well as debt collection.

MARINA LUTOVAC

Marina Lutovac is a legal advisor at the law firm Lutovac & Partners. She has been a certified mediator in civil disputes.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Podgorica. From 2017 to 2024, she served as the Executive Director of the state body Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Between 2009 and 2017, she worked as the National Legal Officer at the OSCE Mission to Montenegro. From 1999 to 2008, she was the Child Protection Programme Manager at the British non-governmental organization Save the Children – Programme in Montenegro.

Marina has also been active as a mediator in civil disputes since 2006, a mediation trainer since 2009, and was engaged with the NGO “Children First” from 2009 to 2016. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Association of Mediators of Montenegro.

Marina Lutovac is the co-author of two mediator training manuals, the editor of the Guide to School Mediation, and participated in drafting the Alternative Dispute Resolution Law and strategic documents on ADR development programs.
